Child Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Filed Against Second Baptist Church, located on John Barrow Road in Little Rock, and former Pastor Ivan Henry Lambert

The lawsuit alleges Pastor Lambert groomed and sexually abused the victim beginning when she was only 17. Much of the grooming behavior and inappropriate interaction occurred in open view of the congregation and its leaders, including the former Senior Pastor of Second Baptist.  Some of the most extreme forms of sexual abuse occurred regularly in the offices of Second Baptist pastors.

The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous, is seeking just financial compensation for the profound and devastating damages inflicted upon her due to the events that transpired both on and off the campus of Second Baptist Church. The allegations made in the lawsuit are deeply troubling and demand immediate attention and accountability.
